Mesotherapy Cellulite Treatment

Mesotherapy was introduced over 50 years ago in France as a treatment for fat loss, facial rejuvenation, and wrinkle treatment. It is now enjoying renewed popularity in Europe and Asia especially as a treatment for fat loss and cellulite. It can be used even as a non-surgical alternative to liposuction for small areas of fat such as upper thighs, abdomen or neck.

Connective tissue bands that hold down the skin, trapping the fat and thereby causing the ‘dimpling’ effect, cause cellulite. The medications used in Mesotherapy destroy the connective tissue bands and melt the trapped fat, creating a smooth, dimple-free appearance. The ARC treatment involves multiple tiny injections into the fat layer of a proven fat-dissolving substance, L-Carnitine. The injections, using the tiniest needles, are given in a grid pattern so that for an area such as the upper thigh about 20 tiny injections are given.

The actual procedure is quite painless because of the small size of the needle and the topical anesthetic cream that is applied.

After the treatment you can return direct to work. There is no downtime. The only instruction is that you massage the treated area at least 3 times a day for a few minutes.

Treatments are repeated every week. The average number of treatments required is 6. This may vary especially if there is a larger area to treat.

You can expect results after 2 or 3 treatments at which time you will notice a smoother, firmer skin.
